This policy applies to consumer orders placed through GRECH & CO. online.

01 EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are shopping as a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.
The 14-day withdrawal period begins on the day you, or someone chosen by you, receives the goods. If your order is delivered in multiple parcels, the period begins when the final parcel has been received.
To use your right of withdrawal, you must clearly notify us within 14 days of receiving your order.
You may notify us by:
- using our Withdrawal Request form
- using our return portal, where available
- emailing us at info@grechandco.com
Simply sending the parcel back without notifying us first is not considered a valid withdrawal request.
Once you have notified us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, you have a further 14 days to return the item to us.
02 How to Start a Return or Withdrawal Request
Please contact us before sending anything back.
You may notify us by:
- using our Withdrawal Request form
- emailing us at info@grechandco.com
When contacting us, please include:
- your order number
- the name used on the order
- the email address used at checkout
- the item or items you wish to return
- whether you are requesting a return, exchange, or withdrawal
Once your request has been reviewed, we will provide return instructions.
Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as this may delay the processing of your return.
03 Condition of Returned Items
Returned items must be sent back in a condition suitable for resale.
You may examine the item as you would in a shop, but you are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling the item beyond what is necessary to inspect it.
Returned items should be:
- unused
- clean
- unworn
- unwashed
- free from marks, scents, stains, pet hair, or damage
- returned with original packaging, hangtags, cases, and accessories where possible
If an item is returned in a condition that reduces its value, we may deduct the loss in value from your refund where permitted by law.
Products Excluded From the Right of Withdrawal
Some products may be excluded from the EU right of withdrawal where permitted by law.
This includes:
- products made to order or clearly personalized
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken
- digital products once access or download has begun, where the customer has expressly agreed to immediate access and acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal
- wholesale, retailer, distributor, and B2B orders, which are not consumer purchases and are handled under separate wholesale terms
For hygiene reasons, sealed baby oral products, pacifiers, and other hygiene-sensitive items cannot be returned once opened or unsealed.
Food-contact products and mealtime items may only be excluded from return where they have been supplied in sealed hygiene packaging and the seal has been broken.
Swimwear, swim shoes, hats, hair accessories, bibs, sunglasses, watches, clothing, and standard accessories are not automatically excluded from the right of withdrawal. These items may be returned under this policy provided they are unused, clean, unwashed, undamaged, and in a condition suitable for resale, with original packaging, tags, hygiene protection, cases, and accessories where applicable.
If an item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, or is returned used, worn, washed, marked, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise reduced in value, GRECH & CO. may deduct the reduction in value from the refund where permitted by law.
This does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
Swimwear, Hygiene-Sensitive Items & Sealed Goods
For hygiene reasons, some sealed or hygiene-sensitive items may not be suitable for return once opened, worn, used, or unsealed.
Swimwear must be returned unused, unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags and hygiene protection intact, where applicable.
Items that are returned used, marked, washed, damaged, or missing hygiene protection may not be eligible for a full refund.
This does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty or incorrect.
04 Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, incorrect, or we have agreed otherwise.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping your proof of postage until your return has been received and processed.
GRECH & CO. is not responsible for return parcels that are lost, delayed, or damaged in transit back to us.
05 Refunds
Once we have received your returned item, or you have provided proof that the item has been sent back, we will process your refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Refunds are made to the original payment method used at checkout.
Where required by law, we refund the product price and the standard original delivery cost.
If you selected a more expensive delivery option, such as express shipping, we only refund up to the cost of standard delivery where applicable.
Please note that any import duties, taxes, customs charges, or carrier handling fees paid directly to customs or a delivery provider are not refunded by GRECH & CO. You may need to contact your local customs authority regarding possible reimbursement.
06 Exchanges
We are happy to help with an exchange where possible.
Exchanges shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, incorrect, or we have agreed otherwise.
Exchanges are subject to stock availability. We cannot guarantee that the requested size, color, or style will still be available when your return is received.
If the item you would like is no longer available, we may offer a refund, store credit, or another suitable option depending on the situation.
For the fastest exchange, please contact us before sending your item back.
07 Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please fill out the Product Claim Form as soon as possible.
Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items are handled separately from change-of-mind returns and are covered by your legal consumer rights.
If the item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
08 Legal Guarantee / Complaint Rights
Your right of withdrawal is separate from your legal rights if an item is faulty or does not match what was advertised.
Under EU consumer rules, you have legal rights if goods are faulty, not as described, or do not work as expected.
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please fill out the Product Claim Form as soon as possible. Or, contact us at info@grechandco.com if you believe your item has a fault.
09 Items That Cannot Be Returned
Some items may be excluded from return or withdrawal where permitted by law, including:
- items made to order or clearly personalized
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed
- used, worn, washed, marked, damaged, or incomplete items
- digital products once access has begun with your consent, where applicable
- gift cards, where applicable
This does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty or incorrect.
10 Sale, Archive Sale & Promotional Items
Sale, Archive Sale, and promotional items may be returned in accordance with this policy unless clearly stated otherwise and where permitted by law.
Your statutory consumer rights, including the EU right of withdrawal where applicable, are not affected by a product being discounted.
11 Refused, Unclaimed or Undeliverable Parcels
If a parcel is refused, not collected, or returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we may deduct the original shipping cost, return shipping cost, customs charges, carrier fees, or other costs incurred before issuing any refund.
Please make sure your shipping address is correct at checkout.
12 Orders Placed Through Stockists
If you purchased your GRECH & CO. item from one of our stockists, retailers, or another marketplace, please contact the place of purchase directly.
We can only process returns, refunds, exchanges, and withdrawal requests for orders placed directly through GRECH & CO.
13 Wholesale / B2B Orders
The EU consumer right of withdrawal applies to consumer purchases.
Wholesale, retailer, distributor, and B2B orders are not consumer purchases and are handled according to the agreed wholesale terms and conditions.
