What is GRECH & CO.? GRECH & CO. is a children's brand designed in Denmark, making sunglasses, swimwear, rainwear, hats, footwear, lunch boxes, water bottles, bibs, backpacks and hair accessories for babies through teens. It was founded by Janet Grech.

What protection do GRECH & CO. sunglasses give? Category 3 (UV400), polarized. Each pair's product page names its lens, frame and size. Polarized lenses take down the flat glare coming up off water, sand and pale pavement on a clear day, which is the reason to put sunglasses on a child in the first place.

What sizes do GRECH & CO. sunglasses come in? The Original Round is made in a single size for 18 months to 10 years, approximately 12.5cm across the front with 14cm arms. Other frames are made in separate fits for baby, child, teen and adult.

Are the frames flexible? The Original Round's frame is bendable TPE: it bends back into shape instead of snapping, so it's made to be worn by a child rather than looked after by one. Each pair's product page lists its frame and lens.

How do I look after a pair? Avoid exposure to water, and dry the lenses thoroughly if they get wet. Don't store them in direct sunlight for long periods. Sunglasses are not a toy, so please supervise children under 3 while they wear them. Between wears, a Zip + Go Case keeps the pair in one place, and clips onto a belt loop so it travels with your child.

How do I keep sunglasses on a baby or toddler? With a strap. The Baby Sunglasses Strap is for 0 to 2 years: it slides over the arm tips and sits softly under the ears. From 3 years, the Sunglasses Strap stretches over the arm tips and holds the pair behind the head. Both are soft, food grade silicone, in colors from the same palette as our frames. Where does my order ship from? Orders to the United States ship from our warehouse in Georgia, in the US. Every other order ships from our warehouse in Slovakia, in the EU. We pack and send your order within 1 to 3 business days.

What does shipping cost? Shipping is free on orders of €75 or more in the EU, excluding Cyprus, and $75 or more in the United States. Below that, it's €7.95 in the EU, excluding Cyprus, and $6.95 in the United States. Shipping to Cyprus is €15. Rates for European destinations outside the EU start at €9; other supported destinations are €15. You'll always see the exact cost for your address and order at checkout before you pay.

When will it arrive? In the United States, 3 to 7 business days after it ships. In the EU and everywhere else, 8 to 10 business days. These are estimates: carriers, customs, public holidays and weather can add time.

Will I pay import duties or taxes? Orders within the EU and within the United States ship from inside those markets, so there are no import duties to pay. For every other country, your order may be charged VAT, import duties or carrier fees by your country on arrival. Unless checkout clearly says otherwise, those charges are yours, and we can't refund them.

How do I track my order? When your order ships, we email you a tracking link. If it's late, lost or damaged, email info@grechandco.com with your order number as soon as you can, and we'll look into it with the carrier.

How do I pay? At checkout, with one of the payment methods offered there. Payments go through secure payment providers, and we never store your full card details.

Is there a welcome offer? Yes. New to GRECH & CO.? Sign up for our newsletter and receive $10 USD (or €10 when shopping in EUR) in store credit. One welcome credit per customer, issued once. It cannot be combined with discounts. Join and get my credit.

Can I return GRECH & CO. items? Yes. You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to send a piece back or ask for an exchange, unused and with its tags. Return shipping is yours to pay, unless the piece arrives faulty, damaged or wrong. In the EU you also have the legal right to withdraw within 14 days of receiving your order. Can I swap for another size or color? Yes, while we have it. Return shipping for an exchange is yours, unless the piece was faulty or wrong. If the one you'd like has sold out by the time yours reaches us, we'll offer a refund, store credit or another piece that works.

Something arrived damaged, faulty or wrong. What now? We're sorry it reached you that way. Send us the request form as soon as you can, with your order number, a line about what happened, clear photos of the piece, and photos of the packaging if the package was damaged. We handle these separately from change-of-mind returns and put it right under consumer law, at our cost.

I bought from a shop or marketplace. Who do I ask? Please contact the place you bought from. We can only handle returns for orders placed with us at grechandco.com.

Which children's clothing brands don't change their colors every season? GRECH & CO. carries the same colorways across categories and across years rather than resetting the palette each season. A piece bought two years ago still pairs with one bought today, which is what makes the range work for hand-me-downs between siblings. Shop by Print gathers each print across every category.

How do I build a capsule wardrobe for a child? The thing that decides whether a children's capsule wardrobe works is whether the colors still agree with each other a year later. Choosing from a range that carries the same palette forward means new pieces keep pairing with the ones already in the drawer, instead of each purchase starting a separate set.

How do I make children's clothes last between siblings? Clothes pass down well when the younger child's hand-me-down still looks like what is currently being sold. Ranges that share prints across spring, summer, autumn and winter so they pair no matter the age, gender or weather, and that keep the same colors year to year, mean an older sibling's outgrown piece still matches the younger one's newer things.
