Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
What to do if something isn't right, or isn't right for your child, and how we put it right. Return shipping is yours to pay, unless a piece arrives faulty, damaged or wrong.

Who pays for return shipping? You do. GRECH & CO. does not cover the cost of return shipping for refunds, exchanges or withdrawals, so you arrange and pay for it yourself. Please use a tracked or registered service and keep your proof of shipping until we confirm your return, because we can't trace a package that goes missing on the way back to us. The only exception is a piece that arrives faulty, damaged or wrong: that return is ours, so please don't pay for shipping until we've asked you to.
How long do I have? You can request a change-of-mind return or an exchange within 30 days of receiving your order. If you shop as a consumer in the EU, you also have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason: tell us within 14 days of receiving it (or the last package, if it came in several), then send it back within 14 more days.
How do I start? Fill in the request form on our Returns, Refunds and Exchanges page before sending anything, and choose the reason that fits. We reply with the right return address and the next step. A package that arrives without a request takes longer to match to your order. To withdraw from an EU purchase, choose "Statutory withdrawal (EU)" on the form, or send us any clear written statement, or use the model form at the end of this page. Simply sending the package back without telling us doesn't count as a withdrawal.
What condition should it come back in? Unused, clean, unworn and unwashed, free from marks, scents, stains and pet hair, with its original packaging, tags, cases and accessories where possible. You can look at a piece the way you would in a shop. If it comes back handled beyond that, we may deduct the loss in value from your refund, where the law allows.
Is there anything I can't return? Some products are excluded from return or withdrawal where permitted by law, including products made to order or clearly personalized, and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once their seal has been broken. Swimwear, swim shoes, hats, hair accessories, bibs, sunglasses, watches, clothing and standard accessories are not automatically excluded. None of this affects your legal rights if a piece is faulty, damaged or incorrect. Gift cards and any digital purchases follow their own disclosed terms and your applicable statutory rights.
What about sale pieces? Pieces from a sale, an archive sale or a promotion are final sale for a change of mind, where the law allows. A discount never changes your rights if a piece is faulty, and it never removes the EU right of withdrawal.
When will I get my money back? We refund to your original payment method without undue delay. For an EU withdrawal, your refund is made within 14 days of the day you told us, and we may wait until the piece is back with us or you've shown us it's on its way, whichever comes first. Where the law requires it, we also refund the standard delivery cost of your order. Import duties, customs charges and carrier fees paid to customs or a carrier aren't refunded by us.
Can I swap for another size or color? Yes, while we have it. Return shipping for an exchange is yours, unless the piece was faulty or wrong. If the one you'd like has sold out by the time yours reaches us, we'll offer a refund, store credit or another piece that works.
Something arrived damaged, faulty or wrong. What now? We're sorry it reached you that way. Send us the request form as soon as you can, with your order number, a line about what happened, clear photos of the piece, and photos of the packaging if the package was damaged. We handle these separately from change-of-mind returns and put it right under consumer law, at our cost.
What are my rights if a piece isn't as described? Your right to withdraw is separate from your rights if a piece is faulty or doesn't match what we described. Under EU consumer law, goods must be as described, fit for their purpose and of satisfactory quality, and you have at least two years from delivery to claim if they aren't.
What about wholesale orders? Wholesale, retailer, distributor and B2B orders are not consumer purchases and follow the agreed wholesale terms and conditions. The EU consumer right of withdrawal applies to consumer purchases.
What if a package can't be delivered? If a package is refused, not collected, or comes back to us because the address was incomplete, we may deduct the shipping, return and customs costs it ran up before refunding you.
I bought from a shop or marketplace. Who do I ask? Please contact the place you bought from. We can only handle returns for orders placed with us at grechandco.com. Wholesale and retailer orders follow their own agreed terms.
